Ragunan Zoo

Have you ever visited zoo park? I have visited Safari Park Bogor when I was child. That was so fun to view a lot of animals that I've never seen before. But, if you want to go there again now, it will spend your money highly. There's another zoo park in Jakarta, and it's cheaper to visit. What zoo park is it?

Yeah.. It's RAGUNAN zoo park..

Saturday, March 13, 2010, I and Teza went from Bogor to visit Ragunan zoo park. The question is "how's to get there?". Here's the answer:

1. From Bogor station, take an economy/AC economy train and get off at Pasar Minggu station.

2. Take a metro mini bus no. 68

3. Then, you'll arrive in front of Ragunan zoo park

The ticket price was Rp 4000 plus Rp 500 for the insurance. It was so cheap, isn't it?

I thought Ragunan will be so crowded because of weekend time. But, that was not true. Maybe, Jakarta people prefer to go to Puncak and make heavy traffic jam. Huh, I hate it.

I and Teza saw many kind of animals there.. Fishes, birds, zebras, comodo dragons, bears, lions, tigers, snakes, crocodiles, monkeys, elephants, giraffes, gorillas, etc.

This is a very young orang utan. It was hanging on the tire swing. This is my favorite animal in Ragunan zoo park.

I just wanted to touch its trunk, but I couldn't reach it.

The best moment in Ragunan for me was animal show. Ragunan has a small stage to show the audience a unique performance from several animals. It was so funny.. Do you want to watch it too? Cekidot.
